For portraits I really do like the close DOF (depth of field, for those wondering) of the Canon 85/1.2 lens. Even though it is far too slow to be used for action shots, for portraits it is just great.

It is no problem shooting with available low light and still get amazing results. This is not called the “wedding lens” for no reason.
